EarthQuest Quality Policy

  It is the policy of EarthQuest International Limited to maintain a quality management system that ensures that all activities of the company are carried out in a manner that meets or exceeds the requirements agreed with the client. The quality system meets the requirements of ISO 9002 Standard.

The system is designed to achieve quality by preventing problems rather than detecting and correcting them after they occur. Adherence to the Quality Management System is mandatory for all the employees of EarthQuest International Limited and must be applied to all areas of the company's operations.

EarthQuest International defines Quality as: The totality of features and characteristics of a product or service that bears on it's ability to satisfy the needs stated or implied needs; or quality may be defined as fit for purpose. These criteria are established by governmental regulation, published methodologies and EarthQuest policy. Also, project specific performance criteria may be established based on the project goals, needs,  constraints, and on EarthQuest’s commitment to service and technical excellence.

Quality Assurance includes all activities used to ensure data accuracy, precision, completeness, and representativeness of the analysis. Quality control includes the actions taken to obtain quality assessment data. These actions may include laboratory control samples, blanks, matrix spikes and duplicate analysis, surrogate recoveries and blind samples.
